The Un(known) Story of Every girl
The Un(known) Story of Every girl
Shhh!!! periods. No, it's time to shout out the period pain. When I say I have periods everybody looks at me as if I have done a sin or a crime. But why? Every woman has mensuration and it's the most important part of a women's life. Then why this society says that periods make a woman impure. Sometimes the way society treats her is worse than the cramps, back pain, and whatnot.
Acting as if she is all well during her periods
in school, college, and office, and hiding those sanitary pads is the toughest
job for her. People say that girls are Lakshmi and Devi but when they get
periods, why do they call untouchables. Those 5 days the pain, the mood swings,
the flow, the girl bear it's like those 5 days are the last days of her life.
People say that women are weak but for me women are stronger than men, bearing
all this stuff and acting like a normal person represents women is strong.
In India, the menstrual cycle is misunderstood in a number of ways.. like women are not allowed to touch anything, sleep on the floor, should not worship God, and many more... According to many Indians, these are the ancient illogical myths but deep down when we study, we get to find many scientifical facts for these. The duty of every parent is to educate the girl and the boy child not only about the ancient practice but also the scientific reason behind it. Some of the men also consider periods to be sin for girls where actually it is not...Giving birth to a new life is completely a super process and "Only we women could possibly give a new life".
