Electric scooters are plug in electric vehicles that run with electricity or current by storing the electricity with rechargeable battery.

 

Electric scooters sales graph had increased rapidly compared to 2021 its mostly due to public awareness and incredible choice for consumers in all segments.

India becoming hub for electric scooters market

The total sales of electric bikes up to Jan - Dec of 2021 is 41046 units and Jan - July 2022 is 255496 units


The E-bike companies that stood at top 5 in the sales are

1.    Hero Electric

2.    Okinawa Autotech

3.    Ampere Vehicles

4.    TVS Motors

5.    OLA Electric

Hero electric stands first in the race by selling 55217 units in 2022, whereas Okinawa stands at second with 53037 sales.

TOTAL UNITS SOLD BY EACH COMPANY IN YEAR 2022

Hero - 55217 units

Okinawa - 53037 units

Ampere - 45859 units

TVS - 40100 units

Ola - 17244 units
